Regina APC27 – oven brush with short hand grip

The Regina APC27 combines a rectangular wooden body with brass bristles, a holder and a short hand grip. It helps with the dry cleaning of suitable, easily accessible oven surfaces.

The short hand grip and holder are included. When worn, you can replace the brush head with the separately available SPAZ-01.

Handy brush for reachable baking surfaces

The short grip allows direct control of the brush. The brass bristles help remove flour, ash and loose baking residues. Before use, check whether your oven manufacturer allows brass bristles for the surface in question.

This hand brush is intended for work within immediate reach. It does not replace a long-handled oven brush if you need to reach deep into the oven or keep a greater distance from hot surfaces.

Use and care

Let the oven cool down sufficiently before cleaning with the hand brush and follow the oven manufacturer’s instructions. The short grip does not provide enough distance for work on hard-to-reach hot surfaces. Keep the wood and grip away from direct flames.

Check the bristles, holder and grip before each use. Afterwards, check the cleaned baking surface for loose bristles and other foreign bodies. Replace damaged or heavily worn heads. Store the brush dry and do not leave the wooden body in water.

FAQ | Regina APC27 hand brush

Is the grip included with the APC27?

Yes. This offer includes the brush with holder and short hand grip. You do not need to order a separate aluminium handle.

Which replacement head fits this brush?

The Regina SPAZ-01 is the matching replacement head for the APC27. It is offered separately; the existing grip and holder continue to be used if undamaged.

How does it differ from a long-handled oven brush?

The APC27 has a short hand grip for easily accessible surfaces. For deep baking chambers and a greater working distance, a suitably long oven brush is required.

Is it suitable for every pizza oven?

Suitability depends on the baking surface and the oven manufacturer’s cleaning instructions. Brass bristles are not approved for all surfaces across the board. Also make sure the work areas have cooled down sufficiently.

When do I need to replace the brush head?

If the bristles are loose, damaged or heavily worn, or if the wooden body is damaged. At the same time, check whether the grip and holder can still be used safely.
