Umberto Napolitano and the story of Pizza-Schule

Umberto Napolitano comes from Modena in northern Italy, from a family of successful restaurateurs who love tradition and the art of good Italian cooking.

In more than 20 years in Germany he has passed on his passion and experience by founding Pizza-Schule – the first pizza school in Germany, which quickly became a point of reference across the country.

Pizza-Schule stands for credibility and reputation. This has also led to its own professional line of flours and pizza accessories under the Pizza-Schule brand.

Over the years, Umberto has appeared on several TV shows and worked with renowned names of Italian and German gastronomy, including Luciano Sorbillo, Alfons Schuhbeck, Frank Rosin, Horst Lichter, Cornelia Poletto and Luca Di Massa.

Our heart: the Academy in Veitsbronn

Just a few minutes from Fürth and 20 km from Nuremberg, our Academy & Showroom is the centre of our activities in Germany.

In the technical showroom you can test ovens, spiral mixers, dough rounders, pizza peels, proofing boxes and much more. We also offer technical consulting, company meetings, themed events, tastings and venue hire for private events.
