For pizza night at home or smaller batches in the pizzeria: this stackable dough box keeps your dough balls neatly together while they prove. The food-safe plastic is suitable for direct contact with dough.

Dough balls with room to rise

As a guide, up to 6 dough balls of about 300 g will fit. The actual number depends on dough consistency, fermentation time and how much the dough expands. Leave enough space between the dough balls and below the lid so you can remove them easily later.

The box can be used for proving dough balls and – depending on recipe and quantity – for bulk fermentation or pre-ferments such as biga. You set the temperature and fermentation time to suit your dough; the box does not replace temperature control.

Compact size – measure your fridge first

With a 40 × 30 cm footprint, the box needs less space than the 60 × 40 cm catering size. Before ordering, check the usable width and depth of your fridge and the shelf height including the lid. Not every domestic fridge has enough room.

Different colours help you tell dough types or batches apart. The colours currently available are shown in the variant selection.

Stackable – add the lid separately

The boxes in this series can be stacked. A matching lid covers the top box and helps protect the dough from draughts and the surface from drying out. Make sure the contact surfaces are clean and the stack is stable.

The lid is not included. If needed, add the lid for 40 × 30 cm dough ball boxes. An airtight or leak-proof seal is not guaranteed.

Cleaning and care

After use, clean the box by hand with a soft sponge and suitable washing-up liquid. Rinse thoroughly and let it dry before storing. Avoid sharp tools and abrasive cleaners on the contact surfaces.

Is a lid included?

No. The matching lid is ordered separately.

How many dough balls fit inside?

Up to 6 dough balls of about 300 g as a guide. Depending on your dough, allow more space and possibly fewer dough balls.

Do boxes from other manufacturers fit?

The same nominal size alone does not guarantee a fit. Check the rim shape and stacking system if you want to combine different series.

Can I put the box in the dishwasher?

For this product we recommend hand washing. Also follow any additional care instructions on the product supplied.
