Regina SPAZ-02 – replacement head for your AK-D55

If the head of your oven brush is worn, you can replace it specifically. The Regina SPAZ-02 is the rectangular replacement brush head made of wood with brass bristles for the Regina AK-D55.

This offer includes the replacement head only. The existing handle and the matching mounting plate of the AK-D55 continue to be used, provided they are undamaged.

Replace the brush head and keep using the tool

The SPAZ-02 replaces the worn head of your rectangular Regina oven brush. Its central thread connects it to the existing mounting of the AK-D55. Before ordering, check the model and the condition of the mounting.

The brass bristles help with the dry removal of flour, ash and loose baking residues on suitable oven surfaces. Whether they are suitable for your oven floor depends on the oven manufacturer’s cleaning instructions.

Replacement head or brush with mounting?

Already have an AK-D55? Then the SPAZ-02 is the right spare part for the brush head. The existing mounting plate is required.

Also need the mounting? Choose the Regina AK-D55 oven brush. With this one, too, the matching Regina aluminium handle is ordered separately.

The SPAZ-02 is not a universal brush head for any handle system. Use the matching mounting of the AK-D55.

Mounting, checks and care

Only change the head once the tool and the work area have cooled down sufficiently. Remove the old head, check the mounting and thread, and fit the replacement head to the existing system. Check that it is firmly attached before each use.

Follow the oven manufacturer’s temperature and cleaning instructions. Keep the wooden body away from direct flames, store it dry and do not leave it in water. Check the bristles and the baking surface for loose parts; damaged or heavily worn heads must be replaced.

Which oven brush is the SPAZ-02 intended for?

The SPAZ-02 is the rectangular replacement head for the Regina AK-D55. Universal compatibility with other brushes or brands is not guaranteed.

Are the handle and mounting plate included?

No. Only the replacement head made of wood with brass bristles is supplied. You need the existing mounting plate of the AK-D55 and a suitable handle.

Can I connect the replacement head directly to an aluminium handle?

For mounting you need the matching mounting of the AK-D55. The replacement head alone does not replace the complete brush with its mounting.

Are brass bristles suitable for every oven floor?

No, suitability depends on the surface and the oven manufacturer’s instructions. Check these before use, especially on delicate or coated surfaces.

When is a new brush head a good idea?

Replace the head if the bristles are loose, damaged or heavily worn, or if the wooden body or thread is damaged. After brushing, check the baking surface for loose parts.
